"Vertical Farming" is a trendy new farming technique to produce greens and other generally leafy plants for consumption. Relic Culture is interested in the integration of our tissue culture platform with vertical farming. Using pre-packaged sterile and self contained packaging we will be able to produce leafy greens with less cost due to minimum infrastructure expense. Current vertical farming technologies are infrastructure expensive endeavors, having lighting and shelving. Current Relic Culture products have a media to plant mass conversion of over 85%, we expect this to improve over time. Our initial experiments with catnip are providing insights into the potential of vertical farming herbs and leafy greens. Initial results are promising.
