Watering and maintenance

We can remove the need to water and fertilize plants at point of sale. This means reduced costs for stores and elimination of plants killed by store management.

Selling made simple

Selling plants typically requires a specialized outdoor location. Our Packaged plants can be stored and sold from standard store shelves. This also means stacking products and increasing spatial utilization.

Shipping solved

Shipping plants has been a constant issue and is routinely made more difficult by damage during shipping. Our shipping methods eliminate shipping damage and provide buyer with ease of mind upon receiving their plants.

The making of an idea:

A Conversation:

We have all seen the tortured existence of plants on store shelves, withering in the sun as a lack of watering brings them nearer to death. The simple fact is plants are living and thus require maintenance to stay alive. Jing, noticing the selection of discounted plants, the tortured survivors sent to the back corner due to ugliness, “I wonder why they lose so many plants? Why does this happen?” Nathan responds with a basic answer “I believe they just forget to water them” Jing, indignant that this is a routine issue “They must loose SO many for no reason! How can we fix this?” Nathan responds “Well… they don’t really try that hard. They could package them differently.” At this point a spark of an idea was born, Nathan and Jing brought the idea to Jesse and the rest is history in the making.
Relic Culture was created to bring more plants more places, removing the need to water and maintain plants in stores. This solution brings with it both challenges and unexpected solutions to concurrent problems. Plants can be notoriously difficult to ship; using Relic Culture’s patented technology shipping plants in the mail is no longer an issue. We have also developed systems for vending machines, and novel solutions for seed packaging. We believe utilizing current bottling technology combined with tissue culture methods can yield better cheaper plants.
